What you need to consider.
There is a lot to take into account when making a website, today we’ll go through a few key things.
Website function.
Before a website can be designed, a roll or several must be designed, as they incur a cost, having a website that does nothing for you wouldn’t make sense. A website can be a simple landing page to give your customers directions to your business as well as your contact information, to more advanced websites like online course content and e-commerce, or a mix of both landing pages, sales pages, contact pages, however, there should always be at least one key function decided.
Content.
Flooding a website with text and images is generally not a great idea if you’re using it to boost your ranking on google. Ideally, a website should have relevant content to your particular field. For example, a personal training website will talk about nutrition, health, exercise, and shouldn’t have articles about politics unless relevant to that topic. That way, if someone is searching for those terms, that page or site will ideally be found due to relevant text.
Design.
Some websites are a labyrinth of pages and links. This makes it difficult for users to navigate to the page or content they are looking for, if there are lots of steps blocking a user from where they need to go, it’s unlikely they will hang around to make it to a sales or even a contact page. Important information like address (if relevant), your phone number and email should be easy to find.
